How Can swelling In The Legs And Ankles Be Treated?

Hi. I have light swelling to my legs and ankles intermittently. there is a putty like feel in shin area sometimes as well. I am 49. pretty active and I workout regularly. I have regular check ups and always get a clean bill of health. blood pressure is great and blood work is great. I also have stomach bloating that will last for weeks on and off and then I will have no issues for several weeks. I don t know if they are connected or what is going on.

Hello,

The cause of swelling needs to be examined in terms of cardiac, renal, liver and thyroid issues. You will require certain tests for that. After that treatment can be planned accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Deepak Sundriyal,
